I am very peturbed to read about NC. and their use of botting to fund the majority of their supercap investment after readign on evenews. CCP should launch an official investigation and ban each and every member who helped with the botting. The old ceo actually posted the whole story on evenews24. it isnt fair that groups such as this have the overwhelming odds and numbers by cheating at the game. honest players are harmed and this hinders the whole experience. after reading the story I would like to see the following members get investigated.
A PUPPETMASTER (14+) Sc founded by bot + titan funded by bot (varn guvera-tyler) ( 6 char banned permanently) Amara Jade (16 personal bots + 4 hosted for jayzen2/podarce/mastakilla, + Sc funded by bot ( jayzen2 is his ms char funded entirely by botting isk ) Ammiraglio Adamo (1 ) Animals (2+ ) + Sc funded by bot Anna varney (2+) + Sc funded by bot + a borrow of 24b from me Apocalipse trow (1+) Attila scourge (2+) + Sc funded by bot Badandrea (2+) Bytza6 (3+) (Call Dogo) (1+) Capital Darkow (2+) Conman (4+ borrowed by me) + Sc gifted by me (Play Dead ) GÇô again by bot income (Core) (8+) + Sc funded by miner bot but previously to my joining Ermaxx (6+ ) + Sc funded by bot Falbos (6+) + Sc (Kotetsu Shin ) funded by bot + Titan (Ed Ross) Ivan Skljarskij (1+) Jayzen2 (6+) + Sc funded by bot (jayzen2) Laraskorpion (0) + Sc funded by me on bot Lopos (1+) Lordfabry (? Sparito) (1+) Lost Eagle1 (3+) + Sc funded by bot (Lupone) (2+) + Sc funded by miner bot but prior to my joining Manolo Dux (4+) + Sc funded by bot Minas93 (6+) + Sc funded by miner bot later changed for a Titan again funded by bots ( Flow Befort )(his personal bot corp = dotnet inc ) Mister Alfa (10+ ) + Sc funded by bot (Nathanius) (1+) Nessuno Ita (2+) + Sc funded bots (ashaoo ) Oby Skywalker (20+) + Sc funded by bot + titan funded by bots (all chars banned permanently ) Phantomf HarlockIII (1+) PsychoBrain (4+) Revival Lolloking (2+) Rogerf86 (1+) Rufus Scheggia (2+) + Sc funded by miner bot but prior to my joining Siumuz (2+) Tremaljack (2+) + Sc funded by bot Virtualz 1 (6+) + Sc funded by bot W4rri0r (1 week) (1+) started recently Warrior amarr (2+) Woozier (3+) +Sc funded by bot (xQol) (1+) started recently
The original article can be found here, I suggest everyone who reads this petition ccp and force their hand on the matter. If you witness any of these players exhibiting botting activiy then you can right click and show info. One there click the small box in the corner and select "report bot" it is about time the large alliances quit cheating themselves into a place of power.
the original story can be found HERE
CCP DO YOUR JOB AND MAKE EVE FREE FROM CHEATERS!!! and yes I am mad bro. |

The issue is these guys are using it to an unfair advantage to increase their standings in null. This is a large alliance and they should be made an example. A list was given and it should be investigated. |

Botting=cheating, you cheat you get banned. Whether you get screwed in the ass or not. You don't have to agree. But it isn't fun to watch super blobs purchased via illegal means. |

If you support Botting then that's fine. |

I'd agreed with ya there, and this doesn't even affect the whole group technically. Mainly that specific corp. but it should be checked out. |

CCP Spitfire wrote:Hello, Thank you for bringing this up. However, I would like to remind everyone that botting and other EULA violations should be reported via the petition system (or an email to [email protected]); the public forums are really not an appropriate venue for this. Please keep the discussion going but keep the above in mind.
No problem, thank you |

If CCP were to ever introduce a legal botting mechanism, then I will make a public agreement, signed in my own blood, that I will hunt down and destroy every mining vessel throughout New Eden even at the expense of my own standings and reputation.
They're already all bots. Just do that anyway.
Ha, I love your opinions and they are all pretty good and respectful. But maybe a crackdown on botting would bring some more diversity to null and allow some groups to get in there and hustle for the right to be there. If you have to bot afford supers which gives them a distinct advantage in null, then perhaps that group should not be there. Mining bots really stink, but ppl botting so they can afford supers that gives them power/influence/territory is just silly. This also keeps alot of groups out of null I bet. I think a strong example made will make others think twice. If a nobody botter gets banned, no one knows. You ban that NC. corp (if they were actually botting) then people take notice and know ccp isnt ****ing around. But it isn't right that they go hotdropping left and right using supers acquired via illegal (cheating) means.

No botting is botting. If some did not use bots, then they have little to worry about. Though all illegally acquired isk should be removed from said accounts such as the case with isk sellers. |

yes, its wrong. yes, its ****** up. but the problem is MUCH BIGGER than that. Treat the disease, not the symptoms. Can't do both? Focus increases the odds of successfully solving the problem. Having half the anti-botting team focus on catching and banning random people means any solution would take twice as long, or longer, to lay out and implement.
What is your suggestion on permanently solving this issue? |

I believe it holds merit as I know personally the leader was banned for botting and that the rest of them knew about it. I think CCP should surely investigate the matter and anyone who agrees should send a mail to [email protected] and make their feelings on the matter known. |
